How to get to Aarhus?
There are several ways to get to Aarhus:
- Arriving at Aarhus Airport then take a bus to the city 925 X (30 minutes drive)
- Arriving at Billund Airport, then take a bus 922X to Aarhus (1.30 h drive)
- Arriving at the airport of Aalborg
- by train, car or bus from Hamburg it will take about 3-4 hours.
If you decide to come from Copenhagen by public transport, there are four options:
1. Take a direct train that leaves from Copenhagen Central Station and takes you to Aarhus Central Station - travel time is about 3 hours; the price depends on the date and time of departure, you can book on http://www.rejseplanen.dk.
2. Fly in to Aarhus Airport www.sas.dk - several flights per day, flight time 40 minutes,
3.Fly in by Seaplane from the center of Copenhagen to Aarhus in an hour. Book tickets on the NordicSeaplanes.dk
4. Getting by bus is the most economical option. Travel time is around 4 hours. In Aarhus, the bus station is in the center, but you need to look for a departure from Copenhagen on the map and book tickets in advance, since the bus runs less often than the train and sells out fast.
The distance from Copenpgen to Aarhus is about 300 km.

How to use public transport in AArhus?
Aarhus has well developed network of bus routes.
There are two types of busses in Aarhus: blue and yellow.
Blue busses usually connect Aarhus and neighbour cities. You need to enter through the front door and pay/ present your ticket to the driver.
Yellow busses run within the city, entry is from the middle door and payment can be done inside the bus ticket machine or purchased before the trip.
The tram network called Letbanen is currently running and has two lines. The tickets can be purchased online or on the platform before boarding.

How much walking is involved?
We walk at moderate pace. Our tours last between 2 to 5 hours depending on the tour route. You can expect to be walking or standing for the majority of the time.

To maximise your chances of getting the day, time and number of spots you require, please book in advance. You can reserve your spot on our website. You can pay by cash on tour or by card online.
Are tours offered only in english?
Our tours main language is English, however we also speak Russian and Danish.
Are bathrooms available during the tour?
The bathroom stops on our tour are available on request of the guests. There are free bathrooms in museums, churches, concert hall, city hall, in shopping centres and a number of public bathrooms on the route of each tour.

Absolutely YES! Denmark is one of the most child- friendly countries in the world and our tours are not exception. You do not need to pay for your child, however please do let us know if you will be attending with a child when you make a booking.
